Architectural Feasibility Studies
Architectural feasibility studies aim to gain quick answers in the overall viability of a proposed project before any significant expenses are incurred. This allows for projects to move ahead with confidence, or allows for projects to altered for increased viability.
WDI Group meets with clients during the onset of an Architectural Feasibility Study to discuss the vision of the project, as well as the needs and wants of the client. From there, an initial on-site assessment is conducted, allowing for the WDI Group team to get a true understanding the area of the proposed project. At this early stage, simple preliminary designs are quickly developed in order to keep costs low and allow for speed to market.
The preliminary designs are used during the first phase of the study, allowing for the correct planning authorities to tentatively approve of the project. Once this is achieved, all of the key stakeholders can then be given access to the preliminary designs for feedback. At this time the study can create a development costing estimation to validate the project is economically viable.
With overall design, tentative approval, stakeholder buy-in, and preliminary budgeting, a document of analysis is created to answer all questions. At this stage, if a project passes the architectural feasibility study, the project proves it is viable to continue.
